In the second quarter of 2024, the Fitness and Weight Loss category on Android saw varied user engagement and download figures. Data from Sensor Tower offers insights into how these apps performed.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner experienced a fluctuating revenue trend starting from $88K in the first week of April to a low of $21K in mid-May, then peaking again at $53K in early June. Downloads showed a slight decrease from 193K in the second week of April to 137K by the end of June, while weekly active users peaked at 1.43M in mid-April before stabilizing around 1.35M in late June.

Basic-Fit, despite showing no revenue, maintained a steady download count with a slight peak at 137K in mid-April and a dip to 85K by the end of June. Weekly active users were highest in mid-April at 964K but saw a gradual decrease to 844K by the quarter's end.

The performance of komoot - hike, bike & run showed a significant revenue peak at $722K in the second week of April, with notable dips and rises, concluding the quarter at $473K. Downloads for komoot were highest at the start of April with 225K but decreased to 83K by late June. Active users saw a decline from 1.64M at the beginning of April to 1.25M by the end of June.

Step Counter - Pedometer had no revenue to report but saw downloads peak at 124K in mid-May, then falling to 71K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a more stable pattern, starting at 311K and growing to 389K in mid-May, then slightly dropping to 339K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Weight Loss for Women: Workout also reported no revenue. Downloads peaked at 116K in late April but saw a decrease to 63K by late June. Weekly active users showed a positive trend, climbing from 826K at the start of April to 1.15M by the end of the quarter.
